Last weekend, we traveled to Birmingham so Abigail could meet some of her aunts, uncles and cousins for the first time. She got to meet most of her Merchant relatives (my mom's family) except for the ones that live in Texas. We hope to see them soon even if it means making a trip out to Texas.
My Uncle George and Aunt Sandra threw Abigail a fabulous party to welcome her to the family. They grilled out and everyone brought a dish over. There was so much great food. Abigail even got her own cake.

She also got some pretty flowers.

Your mom's maiden name is Merchant??? That's my maiden name! Maybe we're related.
I thought the same thing when I saw your last name!
Looks like Abigail got lots of quality time with family! Glad you got to take her to see them!
You are so blessed to have such a large and loving family! Your Savannah pictures were beautiful! And, you know that I just love any picture with sweet baby Abigail in it!! Love ya!
