16 Months

Abigail is 16 months old now...about to be 17 months on October 1st. She is doing so much now. She is talking all the time. We can't always understand her but she is definitely saying something. Sometimes she'll grab one of her books and read it. Or at least read it in her own little language. Sometimes she'll even tell a funny story. She'll babble something and then start laughing hysterically. She does say a lot of words that are recognizable like shoes, eat, dog, eyes, nose, bye bye, mama, daddy, cheese, ball, bottle, night-night, sit and many others that I can't think of right now. She can repeat words too, or at least tries.
She also walks, runs and climbs all over the place. We call her our little monkey. She can climb onto our bed and into her high chair. She is getting better about going places with me but if she's bored or confined for too long, she'll sometimes throw a little tantrum. She is definitely in her "terrible twos". We've occasionally had to cut shopping trips short and carry her out of places kicking and screaming.
Sometimes I miss the little baby that used to lie in my arms all day, but I enjoy the fun age that she is now. She loves being silly and we have so much fun together. She is a very energetic, smart, funny, and mostly sweet little girl. :-)

Abigail eats everything now but sometimes makes a big mess
telling mommy to hush
Abigail still loves her baths
She hates getting her teeth brushed
but she doesn't mind doing it herself
sitting in her new Tinkerbell chair
playing peek-a-boo
our little monkey wearing her monkey pajamas
getting ready to watch the Auburn game
reading one of her books
Abigail and her friend Mariah
having a picnic lunch at the park
Abigail didn't care too much for the playground on that day.
But she did love playing in the fountains.
visiting the animals at Noah's Ark in Locust Grove, GA
Abigail loved seeing all the animals.
